Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministries is a non-profit parent organization to three different areas of ministry: Carol Joy Holling Camp, Sullivan Hills Camp and Carol Joy Holling Center. Each area has their own website to keep important information prominent to their audiences. All of the websites were redesigned with the specific audience in mind of the stakeholders that work with those audiences everyday. The overall goal of the redesign was smoother, more simple flow of information for the user and cleaner design.
NLOM is Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministries' acronym and the website for organization information and donor/giving relations. nlom.org
Carol Joy Holling Camp is easily the most content-driven website for the organization because of it's audience: camper parents and younger families. Content gets changed all the time to keep parents up to date and interested in what's happening throughout the year, but most importantly, during the summer. caroljoyholling.org
Carol Joy Holling Center is used to describe the conference and retreat portion of NLOM. This site serves the audience that looks to book a day meeting, retreat space for the weekend or team building activities. It was important for this site to speak to the audience with the same information a hotel would use. cjhcenter.org
Sullivan Hills Camp operates in Lodgepole, NE and is the smallest operation within NLOM. They receive almost 200 campers a summer and a hand full of retreat groups a year. This site has helped the efforts in getting more retreat groups booked and made for successful NLOM ran events and retreats. sullivanhills.org
